Yi Lin

Yi Lin is an Executive Director/Partner in the Beijing office. Dr. Lin is part of the China team and is responsible for deal sourcing and transaction execution. Before joining ePlanet in 2011， Dr. Lin was an Executive Director at Mingly Growth China， a Fund which manages both US dollar and Chinese Reminbi funds and invests in growth stage Chinese enterprises. While at Mingly， Dr. Lin lead deal sourcing， due diligence， term negotiation and portfolio management in the healthcare sector and was actively involved in the Fund’s investment in the Green Tech sector. Prior to that， Dr. Lin co-founded Eastwin Life Science， a leading Chinese company distributing life science research and clinical diagnosis equipment in mainland China and Hong Kong. In 2008， the company was selected as “one of the most promising companies in healthcare sector”. Before founding Eastwin Life Sciences Dr Lin was a business consultant for Thermo Electron Bioscience Technologies and prior to that， a Senior Associate with McKinsey & Co based in Shanghai and Atlanta.

Dr. Lin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a PhD in Microbiology from Columbia University.
