Liang Shi

Liang Shi is Director of Sagamore Investments.

Since joining the firm， Liang has been in charge of the direct investments and has provided advisory services to the investors， portfolio companies and other related parties. Liang was previously Senior Manager of Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co. Ltd where he was in charge of the M&A and direct investment group， where he managed and executed a number of M&A transactions， including the largest transaction in China’s healthcare industry of more than US$ 500 million. Liang was also involved in the US$ 2.2 billion IPO of Shanghai Pharma in Hong Kong. Before that， Liang worked at Evonik Degussa， the largest fine chemical company in the world， as the M&A Manager in the Greater China region. Liang was born in China. He received a BA in International Finance and Trade from the University of Portsmouth and an MSc in Finance from the University of Bristol， U.K. Liang was born in China and is fluent in Mandarin and English.
