Rodrigo Yang is Co-Managing Director of Sagamore Investments.
Rodrigo co-founded Sagamore Investments which began investing in biotechnology in 2002 and is actively investing in venture funds, hedge funds, and early-to-mid-stage biotechnology companies. He oversees Sagamore’s investments in China private equity funds, U.S. biotechnology venture capital funds, and direct investments. Rodrigo began his career in textile manufacturing in 1993 and is currently the Chairman of South Ocean Knitters Group, a Hong Kong-based manufacturer of sweaters. From 1989 to 1993 he worked at Computer Curriculum Corporation, a computer-aided instruction company based in Sunnyvale, California. He received a BS in Mathematics and Economics from Illinois State University and an MS in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University. Rodrigo was born in China and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
