Andy Sowerby

Andy Sowerby joined Martin Currie in 2005 and was appointed to the executive and the main board the same year. He has responsibility for sales， marketing and client service. Andy came to Martin Currie from Investec Fund Managers， where he was joint managing director with responsibility for marketing the company’s pooled-fund businesses， both in the UK and in Europe. He was also on the main board of Investec Asset Management. Before that， Andy spent 12 years at Scottish Widows Fund Management， where he played a prominent role in building up the group’s unit-trust business.
