Jesus Olmos Clavijo

Jesus Olmos （London） joined KKR in 2008 as European Head of Infrastructure. Prior to joining KKR， Mr. Olmos was a Member of the Executive Board reporting to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and a Managing Director for Corporate Development at Endesa， S.A.， Spain’s leading electric utility， the largest private electric utility in Latin America， and a leading European energy company. Previously， between 2004 and 2008， Mr. Olmos was Chief Executive Officer of Endesa Europa. During his time at Endesa， Mr. Olmos led investments in a number of energy infrastructure assets around the world， including in Portugal， Italy， France， Poland， Turkey， Greece， Ireland， and North Africa. He also helped develop the European strategy of Endesa through Endesa Europa， which was sold in June 2008 for a total enterprise value of €11 billion with value creation of more than €6 billion in seven years. Mr. Olmos joined Endesa in 1991， after working at Iberdrola and the Nuclear Fusion Institute. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales and an M.B.A. from Instituto de Empresa.
