Rex Chung

Rex Chung （Hong Kong） joined KKR in 2008. He is responsible for KKR Capital Markets Asia Ltd.， serves as the Director of KKR Korea LLC， and is a member of the Client and Partner Group. Prior to joining KKR， Mr. Chung spent 16 years at UBS Investment Bank and predecessor firms （including SG Warburg） in both equity and investment banking divisions. Most recently， he was COO of the firm's U.S. prime brokerage distribution business in New York. In Hong Kong， he served as Head of ECM Syndicate and senior originator for some of Asia's largest capital markets transactions having been appointed a Managing Director in 2003. Mr. Chung also led the primary and secondary distribution of Asian product from both London and New York. Prior to that， he was an analyst and officer for Seoul Securities Co.， Ltd. based in Seoul and New York. Mr. Chung holds a B.Soc.Sc. from the University of Ottawa and an M.A. from the Graduate School of International Studies， Yonsei University.
