Jacques Garaïalde

Jacques Garaïalde （London） joined KKR in 2003. Since then he has been directly involved with the investments in Legrand， PagesJaunes Groupe， Tarkett and Visma. He is in charge of the development of KKR’s activities in France and Belgium and is a member of the Technology industry team in Europe. Currently， he is on the board of directors of Legrand， PagesJaunes Groupe， Tarkett and Visma. Prior to joining KKR， Mr. Garaïalde was a Managing Director and Partner at The Carlyle Group， in charge of the Europe Venture Partners fund. From 1982 to 2000， he worked at The Boston Consulting Group （BCG） on strategic and operational assignments for European corporations. At BCG， he served as Managing Partner in charge of Belgium （1992 to 1995）， then in charge of France and Belgium （1995 to 2000）. From 1979 to 1981， he was an analyst at Esso France. He holds an M.Sc. from Ecole Polytechnique， Paris and an M.B.A. from INSEAD， Fontainebleau， France.
