Matthieu Baret

Matthieu Baret is a Partner of Idinvest Partners for Venture Capital， he joined Idinvest Partners in 2005 and operates mainly in the sectors of telecommunications/media and cleantech. Matthieu led Idinvest Partners's investments in OneAccess （designer of business class CPE routers）， Erenis （FTTH operator， sold to SFR， largest French CLEC）， Curse （massively multiplayer online game website）， Recupyl （batteries recycling）， Zeturf （online horse betting） and Scality （cloud storage）. Matthieu also sits on the board of Talend （open source data integration vendor）.

Before joining Idinvest Partners， Matthieu was VP for corporate development and strategic planning at Italtel， a Milan-based subsidiary of Cisco and Telecom Italia and a leading triple-play solutions provider for carriers. Previously he worked at Europatweb， the investment company founded by Bernard Arnault， and at Cap Gemini Telecom， as European marketing manager for internet and multimedia services. Matthieu started his career at Bouygues Telecom， the 3rd French GSM operator that he joined at its very inception to contribute to launching the service and the network.

Matthieu holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Supelec and Georgia Tech （Atlanta， USA） and an MBA from INSEAD.
