Jon P. Awong

Jon P. Awong is a Director of Aetos China and has been based in Hong Kong since 2006. He is responsible for asset management activities across Aetos Capital Asia’s non-Japan Asia investments.

Prior to relocating to Hong Kong， Mr.Awong was a senior member of Aetos Japan’s investment team and led Aetos Japan’s pricing and portfolio management functions. Prior to joining Aetos Capital in 2001， Mr.Awong was a member of the acquisitions team at The Blackstone Group’s real estate funds， having sourced and executed on a number of property investments.

Mr.Awong attended the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics， summa cum laude， from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science， summa cum laude， from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. He was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa and was also the recipient of the Pinkel Award.
