Daniel Cherman

Daniel Cherman joined Tishman Speyer in 2001 and is responsible for the firm's activities in Brazil. Prior to assuming the role of Country Head in 2009， Mr. Cherman held a number of roles in the firm’s Brazil team， including serving as Chief Operating Officer， managing the region's acquisitions and leasing efforts， heading both the residential development and commercial development groups， and， most recently， serving as Interim Country Head. Previously， Mr. Cherman spent twelve years at Birmann S/A Comércio e Empreendimentos， where he oversaw large-scale commercial and residential development as general manager for Latin America operations， and was responsible for opening offices in Argentina and Chile. Mr. Cherman is a graduate of Pontifício Universidade Católica （PUC） in Rio de Janeiro with a degree in civil engineering， and he received an MBA at the University of São Paulo.
