Russell Makowsky is Senior Managing Director Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Makowsky is responsible for Tishman Speyer's worldwide Accounting， Tax and Information Technology functions. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer， he was with Goldman Sachs for 20 years， in the New York， Hong Kong and London offices， most recently as a managing director and co-head of the global tax department. Previously， he was an attorney at Cleary， Gottlieb， Steen & Hamilton in New York. Mr. Makowsky is the chair of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Alliance， where he has been on the board since 2006， having previously served as Treasurer from 2008 to 2010 and as chair of the Leadership Council of the 14th Street Y from 2007 to 2008. He is also on the System Board of Jewish Home Lifecare， where he chairs the Board of the Community Services Division. Mr. Makowsky graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981.
