Joel Thickins joined CHAMP in 2008 as an Associate Director. Mr. Thickins’ responsibilities include origination， assessment， transaction execution， and management through to exit. Prior to joining CHAMP， Mr Thickins worked as a Vice President at Dyno Nobel Limited leading acquisitions in China， Europe， and North America. In this position Mr. Thickins was responsible for all aspects of the investment process including the identification of potential targets， the management of third-party due diligence， deal execution， post-close integration， and portfolio management.
Prior to Dyno Nobel Mr. Thickins held strategic and operational positions with Boral Limited in Atlanta， Georgia. While at Boral Mr. Thickins lead greenfield expansion， margin improvement， and asset allocation initiatives in the building products， construction materials， and logistics industries.
Mr. Thickins holds a Masters in Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelors of Commerce （Hons） from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Mr. Thickins is currently a Board member of Blue Star Group and Accolade Wines.
