Nathaniel Childres is a Managing Director of CHAMP and is responsible for all phases of the investment process， from origination to exit. Mr Childres has worked in financial services since 1993， first as an attorney in mergers and acquisitions， and since 1998 in private equity. Immediately prior to joining CHAMP， he worked at Edgewater Capital， a US private equity fund focused on middle market leveraged buyouts， and had responsibility for deal origination， analysis and execution of investments in the manufacturing sector. Previously Mr Childres worked as an attorney for White & Case， both in New York， and for several years in Jakarta and Singapore， working on a variety of transactions including acquisitions， direct investment， and joint ventures.
Mr Childres is the Head of the CHAMP office in Singapore where he has been based since 2008
Mr Childres holds a graduate degree in law （J.D.） from Columbia University， and a bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley in History/International Economic Development.
Mr Childres is a director of International +Energy Services Ltd and the Blue Star Group， and was previously a Director of Bradken Resources Pty Ltd.
