Marcel Erni

Marcel Erni holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and a doctorate and master’s degree in finance and banking from the University of St. Gallen （HSG）. Marcel was a banker at Goldman Sachs & Co. and a management consultant at McKinsey & Co.. Marcel is a founding Partner of Partners Group and a member of the business development committee. He serves as Executive Vice Chairman and is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy and development. In addition he is a member of the absolute return strategies， the private equity and the private real estate investment committees. He has been pivotal in building the firm’s direct investment business and has extensive investment experience both in direct and fund investments.
