Mike Hsinyih Chen

Mike Hsinyih Chen holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of New Mexico， and BS in Physics and EE from University of Chinese Culture in Taiwan. Dr. Chen has over 25 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing， packaging， and reliability with extensive foundry and assembly relationships with vendors in the United States， Taiwan and China. He was most recently an Executive Vice President of Technology at Shanghai SIM-BCD， a China-based foundry， where he was responsible for the development of DMOS， BiCMOS， Bipolar， HV and BCD technology. Prior to SIM-BCD， he was Senior Director of Manufacturing and Operation at AplusFlash Technology， based in San Jose， responsible for its operation. Dr. Chen also worked at PMC， Winbond， ISSI， Fairchild， and National Semiconductor， in various engineering and management roles. Dr. Chen is considered an expert in the China foundry industry with his extensive involvement and working relationships with many of the foundries in China. Dr. Chen is now the Vice President of Manufacturing and Operation of Power Analog Microelectronics， Inc..
