Winston Lee received his architecture degree from Rice University and an MBA from Leonard N. Stern School of Business， New York University.
Mr. Lee has over 25 years of experience in the investment banking industry. As one of the most highly regarded Chinese-American investment bankers， Mr. Lee was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley stationed in Hong Kong during the 1980’s， specializing in the telecommunications and multimedia industries. Entrepreneurial and creative， he later founded Gateway Communications （HK） Ltd. and investment banking firm Strait Ventures Inc. Mr. Lee is responsible for winning many important telecommunications licenses in Asia， including the two most valuable mobile licenses in Taiwan； including FarEastTone Telecommunications Corp. （JV of AT&T Wireless and Far Eastern Group）.
Mr. Lee is Managing Director of Tano China Capital Management Inc. He is also the acting Chairman/CEO of General Display International， Ltd. and General Ultrasound Technology， Ltd.， both are Tano controlled companies.
